      Cannonball Adderley's Accent on Africa sounds like nothing else this jazz legend has done. The album has many different genres of music mixed together. It goes from Jazz to R&B to Gospel and of course to African music. 7 of the 8 titles have African names as well.

      Though labeled as a Cannonball Adderley Quintet session, this is actually a workout with a percussion section loaded with African drums, a big band, and in spots, voices -- all unidentified.
