Oct 17,  · Further Deeper is another amazing piece of work from a band that continue to build upon an astonishing career of incredible music. The opening chills of the sinister Vanishing Man is a dark and brooding way to set the tone here. The lovely female vocals in the chorus lend themselves perfectly to the track. Classic Church at their very best/5(90).

Said to have been recorded over eight days in late with new guitarist Ian Haug (formerly of Powderfinger), Further/Deeper, the band’s 25th album, starts with radio-friendly pop (“Vanishing Man,” “Delirious”) before exploring the deep end of psychedelia with the elaborate-sounding tunes “Laurel Canyon,” “Love Philtre,” and “Globe Spinning.”.

Further/Deeper Over three decades of making music in various formats, lineups, places and cognitive states, the Church is a band who have committed to exploring unchartered sonic territories. Next chapter comes in the form of new music, a new band member and a chance for that to be shared with old fans and new ones through the release of their.

The Church continue their never-ending exploration of inner space on 's Further/Deeper, the Australian group's first album in five years, and an impressive return to duty after the band's productive run in the peotranbangthopaquatesnovatossellcons.xyzinfo a few years to rest and recharge seems to have worked out very well for the Church; this album doesn't find the band exploring much in the way of new and unchartered Price: $
